What types of rental contracts are possible?
As of July 1, 2016, a number of rules have been changed in the rental right because of the "Law flowrate rental market 2015". One of the changes relates to the contractual options you have when renting out your property.
The options are as follows:
- Indefinite period;
- Indefinite period with a minimum duration of twelve months;
- Definite period for up to two years (independent housing) / five years (shared accommodation) or shorter;
- Definite period longer than two (2) years (independent housing) / five (5) years (shared accommodation).
